Santa Barbara Channelkeeper's (SBCK) water sample testing results reflect only sampling for a limited range of materials and elements, such testing is periodic, any test results are reflective only of water conditions at the time of testing relative to the bacteria tested, and such tests are indicative only of the water sample tested and not of any water not tested. Any user of testing result information acknowledges that test results may be inaccurate because of error despite all attempts to ensure accuracy, and that results may not reflect the general condition of the body of water sampled. SBCK recommends that caution be employed when considering any water sampling results and that no inference be made that waters are clean or safe.
